Cards by John Baines of Bradford.

Turn of the century cards amongst some of the rarest cards you will ever see.

John Baines, of Manningham, Bradford, began producing collectors cards in 1887 with rugby, football and cricket the primary subjects. They are now highly collectable. Often found in poor condition as they were used by children for a game "Who's nearest" which involved throwing the cards against a wall!.
